Simple Yarn Headband Tieback

This simple little headband is perfect for newborn photos,
babies, toddlers, or just make one for yourself!
Super easy and only takes a couple minutes to make.

What you need:
Yarn (I used a mohair lace weight, but any size will do)
Yarn Needle
Scissors

Pull out about 12 inches of yarn and let it hang over three fingers.

Take the part that is connected to your skein
and wrap it around your fingers 10 times.
Do more or less depending on the weight of your yarn
and how full you want the bow to be.

Cut the yarn, leaving about a 14 in tail
and carefully remove your middle finger.

Take the tail that you just cut, pull it to the left
and wrap it around your bow 5 times.

Tie a knot with your two tails.

Gently pull the bow off your fingers.

One of your tails will angled up and the other down.
Take the one that is angled up and put it through your yarn needle.
Slide the needle under the wraps around your bow and pull tight.
Bring the needle back around and pull through again.

Cut the tails to your desired length and you're done!
